Sharon Petersen has been active in Hawaii agriculture since 1977 when she first opened Sharon’s Plants. She started her passion of cultivating and hybridizing Bromeliads over twenty years ago, and is acclaimed as a top hybridizer of Bromeliad Neoregelia. She’s received numerous awards from Bromeliad Society International and is currently working with the Hawaii Bromeliad Society in hosting their first international conference in Hawaii.
